The story of a teenaged Hawaii girl who flew to the Mainland to meet a man she met over the Internet is just one of the stories explored in the latest episode of the Honolulu Police Department's "Inside HPD," which will air Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. on KHON/FOX 2. Also featured will be HPD's youth programs (including an interview with boxer Brian Viloria) and a segment on juvenile prostitution.

Produced by HPD's Training Division, the program is positioned both as a way to inform the public about the inner workings of the department, as well as a recruiting tool. HPD Chief Lee Donohue hosts, and personnel both share stories about their work and participate in reenactments.
